HIKING WITH HOPE

The primary venue is Mt. Major, in Alton, N.H. This mountain is one of the most popular hiking spots in New Hampshire, with spectacular views, multiple trails, and a rocky summit, offering 360 degree views. A sunrise hike is an added bonus. Beginning the hike pre-dawn will provide a sunrise that will be memorable. The hike takes 1-3 hours maximum to complete, and the more you hike, the more our children benefit.

Meet Us at Our Event Table

The event is an all day "rain or shine - come when you can event" but our first hikers will set-out at 6:00am. We know it will be fulfilling for you as you hike for our children. Please drop by our "HWH" Event Table to find out more about who we are, what we do, and how you can help.

Easy - Moderate - Strenuous

With three distinct trails from beginner to moderate, every member of your group will not only enjoy the hike, but also the challenge of the climb. On a clear morning, an "Early Bird" sunrise hike is an added bonus, and you will see many of us there.

Three Clearly Marked Trails

The "YELLOW" Brook Trail is easiest but longest, the "ORANGE" Boulder Loop Trail is rocky and entirely within the tree line, and the "BLUE" Main Trail offers the most difficult climb but also the most spectacular views.
