Residential Homes for our Children
Our multi-acre Community plan will include multiple individual family homes, housing two live-in caregivers, each nurturing up to three Special Needs children. The community will be village themed, providing a cultural environment where our residents may move about, and thrive in an atmosphere of safety. Each home will be handicap accessible with the rooms designed specifically for special needs individuals.
The Land God Has Given
Homes for Visiting Missionaries and their Families
Because missions work is crucial to our plan, we will also have short-term, long-term, and permanent "in-community" housing for visiting missionaries and their families, where they will be able to thrive in an environment of safety while serving the Lord in Ghana. We will also freely offer these homes to local Pastors and their families for a time of refreshing and replenishment.

Step By Step Multi-media Children's Learning Library
Our multi-media library will provide a learning and discovery experience for our children, and even for our neighboring Kwaso town community. We will offer thousands of books, audio/visual learning, movie presentations, and a computer center where children can discover the wonders of the world around them.
Learning & Discovery
Medical Clinic/Therapy Center
Our Medical/Therapy clinic will be an on-site facility where local physicians, nurses, physiotherapy & occupational therapy professionals may come to treat our children. We will enlist partnerships with local hospitals to donate their services for our kids. The clinic will also be open from time to time for our local Kwaso community.
Medical-Dental-Therapy Care
Industrial Kitchen/Dining Hall/Restaurant for Guests
Our industrial equipped kitchen will serve as the main facility for our community meals and restaurant, as well as a learning extension of our "Life Skills Training Center." We will have a lead chef, staff of cooks, and interns, who may assist while learning a culinary trade.

Indoor Arts-Crafts & Activity Learning Center
Our indoor Arts, Crafts & Activity center, will be a gathering place where the children may color, paint, put together puzzles, learn beading & Jewelry making, be a part of group projects, and create all kinds of imaginative designs with an ample assortment of crafts, including "Legos" building blocks.

"God's Love"
It's all about God's love for His children. It is about giving hope to the abandoned and forgotten children of this world. It is about His love working through us for others in need. It is about giving with no expectation of giving in return. It is about storing up treasures in heaven, rather than seeking the things of this earth. It is about pleasing our Father, our Savior, and our God.
The Timeline
Our seven plan is to divide the total project into three construction phases beginning in 2027, with a targeted completion and grand launch in 2033!
We hope to break ground once formal architectural planning has been completed, with a priority on residential homes, missionary housing, Athletic & Recreational Center, and support structures. As each area is developed and functioning, we hope to then begin work on the Special Needs school, Life Skills Training Center, and remaining community projects.
One-Of-A-Kind
"Community"
Our Special Needs Community will be a one-of-a-kind, "Home for A Lifetime!" where each resident may choose to make this their permanent home, being an active member of the management and support teams. We hope one day, the children of years gone by, will become the current and future leaders of Step By Step Community for Special Needs.

The Community is only the beginning. Worldwide is our destination. We hope and pray to make an impact worldwide, in the quest to give those with Special Needs, "A Home-A Hope-A Future." Our name is God given, and we trust in His faithfulness to fulfill his purpose for Step By Step Worldwide Ministries.

Worship & Evangelism Center
Our community children and residents, as well as our local Kwaso community, will have a full church for worship services, and prayer meetings. We will welcome local pastors and visiting missionaries to hold assemblies during the year. Our commitment is to fulfill the call to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, within and beyond our four walls.

Outdoor Recreation area,
Playground & Wading Pool
Our outdoor recreation and play area will complement our Special Needs Athletic center. We will continually add handicap accessible equipment for our children, while also providing opportunity to the children of our local Kwaso town community.

Step By Step
Life Skills Training Center
Our vocational training center will provide opportunity for the disabled, single mothers, and all those in need, to learn a "life skill" and be self-supporting through the fruits of their learned trade. We will have carpentry & woodworking, culinary training, shoe making & repair, beading & jewelry making, sewing & seamstress training, fabric weaving & design, agricultural & livestock training, electrical repair, pottery making and design, artistic training, and many more career fields. This center will continue to expand over time with many opportunities for the disabled and disadvantaged. We will incorporate local artisans and business owners, to teach and equip our students for a future they did not envision.

Step By Step Special Needs School and
Center for the Hearing Impaired
Our Special Needs & Hearing Impaired Learning Center will provide classroom and personal one-on-one instruction for children with learning disabilities. The curriculum will focus on each child's development in spirit-mind-body. Our School for the Hearing Impaired will feature ASL sign language learning, including visual, hands-on, and text book application. Classes will be formed and adapted to cognitive ability, with an emphasis on working together as a family.

Step By Step Center
for Community Conferences
& Special Functions
Our Step By Step Center will be available to hold missionary conferences, local, regional, and national governmental seminars, church functions, etc. The center will be open to the surrounding communities for a nominal donation to help support Step By Step Community for Special Needs.

Giving Back to the Community
Involvement & Support for Our Neighbors
Our community, including all resources, is being developed to "Give Back" and support not only Step By Step, but also our local town of Kwaso and surrounding area. We are here not to gain, or make a profit, but to pour out all of our resources as a need arises.
