This event is about "Hiking with Your Heart." Every Step Matters.

​Please join us for our 6th annual "Hiking With Hope" event which supports the Step by Step Home for Children with Special Needs, in Ghana, West Africa.  This event will be held at our primary site, Mount Major in Alton NH, and various mountains throughout the region, on Saturday, September 14, 2024.  The goal is to recruit sponsors who will pledge donation funds for each ascent. You are "Climbing for the kids" and 100% of the monies raised will go to resources necessary to expand facilities so we can accept more children into this growing ministry of hope.

"Old Home Days" or "Week", is a New Hampshire original, going all the way back to 1897. Frank Rollins, the Governor of New Hampshire from 1899-1901, was the person who began the annual celebrations. In 1899, 44 New Hampshire towns held "Old Home Weeks" during the last week of August.

Step By Step Worldwide Ministries will be participating in the Epsom Old Home Day on Saturday this year. Focusing primarily in the Merrimack Valley, we hope to have booths at a number of historic "Old Home Week" celebrations. Please look for us on Saturday, August 10th at, ["Webster Park" on Webster Park Road and Suncook Valley Highway/Route 28 South in Epsom] and learn more about our 'Step By Step Kids" and how you can help. 

We will have brochures and information about our ministry of rescuing abandoned children with Special Needs. We hope you can come see us.

The 42st annual Suncook Valley Rotary Hot Air Balloon Festival (Pittsfield Balloon Rally) is a large and well-known event in New Hampshire that takes place at Drake Field in Pittsfield. The Hot Air Balloon Festival also known as “The Hot Air Balloon Rally,” usually takes place the first weekend of August every year. The Balloon Festival brings visitors from all over the New England area into the small town of Pittsfield, NH. and is a great event for the entire family. This year the Balloon Festival will include rides, food, "tethered" hot air balloon rides, helicopter rides around the Pittsfield area, and much, much more. The annual program features a specialty shaped balloon, and a walk-through balloon. There are also other activities such as dog demonstrations by Inspire K9’s Training Center, a "Touch A Truck/Meet a Mascot event," the "Anything That Floats River Raft Regatta," and a Corn Hole Tournament.

The highlights of the 3-day event are the spectacular launching of the hot air balloons which occurs Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning most years (weather permitting), and of course the grand fireworks display on Saturday night! 

Step By Step Worldwide Ministries will be there in 2024. Please watch for the date and drop by our booth to learn more about our "Step By Step Special Kids."

In 2024 we will hold our first annual "Step By Step" 5K Road Race, focusing on raising resource and transportation funds for Step By Step's growing family of Special Needs children. 

Registration for the race will be $30.00. Additional donations are welcome. We will have information about our ministry & child sponsorships available at our check-in table. There will be beverages, fruit, snacks, and runner's support along the route. This year's kick-off event, will help us take the steps to meet the ever increasing needs of our growing ministry, including the acquisition of a reliable 15 passenger van for the medical transport of our family of special needs children.

More children are coming. 

SOLD!!!  Our "Bids for the Kids" online virtual auction will include an assortment of donated goods and services by our supporters in the local business industry. From coffee shops to carwashes, weekend getaways to great restaurants, and sporting events to spas, we will be offering dozens of items for the purpose of raising funds for our Step By Step Home for Children with Special Needs" in Ghana. This is a "boots on the ground" ministry of love, run by the founders, John Michael, and Connie Lynn Stainsby, formerly of Epsom, N.H. and the greater Concord area. They have been operating for 5+ years, caring for twelve children with multiple disabilities and special needs. There are more children on the way, and they need your support. Step By Step Worldwide Ministries been recognized nationally by the government of Ghana, as a primary facility for the rescue and care for abandoned children with Special Needs.
